Simply tap the screen or swipe downward as you chant each mantra. The app provides a subtle haptic vibration with each bead, simulating the tactile touch of real Tulsi or Rudraksha beads. Upon completing 108 beads, a gentle temple bell sounds and your completed Mala count automatically advances.
Q2 Is my Naam Lekhan practice private?
Yes, 100%. Everything you write on the digital slate is rendered and stored locally on your own smartphone. We never record your screen, transmit your handwritten strokes, or inspect your private devotional moments.
Q3 Does Hari Naam work offline without internet?
Absolutely. Hari Naam is built to be a reliable spiritual companion everywhere — whether you are meditating in a temple, traveling on an airplane, or seated in a quiet corner with zero internet connectivity. All counting and writing features work seamlessly offline.
Q4 Can I chant or write custom mantras?
Yes. The app comes pre-configured with popular mantras (such as Sri Ram, Hare Krishna, Om Namah Shivaya, Radha Rani, Gayatri Mantra) and also allows you to enter and practice custom mantras of your Ishta Devata.
Q5 How can I protect my daily streak if I travel across time zones?
The app uses your local device clock to calculate daily streaks. If you travel across timezones, we provide a 24-hour grace window so that your sacred streak is not accidentally reset due to travel delays.
